The following day, Morgpie posted on her X account that Twitch had temporarily suspended her channel. She later posted that the Dark Soles playthrough would resume this weekend when her channel’s back.
Twitch’s terms of service still has the ban on streams that focus on “intimate” body parts and specifically names “buttocks, groin, or breasts.” There’s no mention of feet, however. So it’s possible Twitch flagged this stream as sexual content in a more general sense.
We’ve reached out to Twitch for comment on the situation and will update the story if we hear back. Whatever the case, the service has been rewriting its terms of service in response to Morgpie’s streams for years, at this point, and it feels like it’s constantly moving the goal post. I would not be surprised if we see the company add a new rule about lingering on your feet for too long in the coming weeks.
