To kick off the new year, Sony has revealed a impressive list of games coming to its large PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. God Of War Ragnarök, a Yakuza spin-off, and Indiana Jones are just some of the games coming soon. But don’t get too excited about that last one, as its not last year’s fantastic Great Circle.
On January 15, PlayStation officially announced the next round of PS Plus Extra and Premium games that will be added to the service’s catalog. All of these new games will be available to download and play starting on January 21.
The biggest news is that Sony is bringing Ragnarök to PS Plus. The sequel to 2018’s God Of War, Ragnarök is a bigger and often better open-world action game that tells an epic story about the end of the world, gods fighting each other, and a father learning to let his son grow up. It’s a great game and its nice to see it make the leap to PS Plus.
While Ragnarök is of course the big news, I do love that Sony is adding Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings to its Classics library. This was a PS2 and Wii game released in 2009 (a very late PS2 game) that wasn’t great and was quickly forgotten. But hey, it never got an Xbox port, so its sort of Sony’s own exclusive Indiana Jones game. It’s not as good as last years Great Circle, which will land on PS5 in 2025, but hey, its something!
Anyway, here’s the full list of games being added to PS Plus and its various tiers next week:
