We already knew Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s first patch was coming this week, but since it landed on N7 Day, it also came with a few surprises. The fantasy RPG is one of BioWare’s more polished games, but even so, there are plenty of bugs for the team to squash, based on the patch notes it just put out.
The headliners of The Veilguard’s first patch are the addition of a Mass Effect-themed armor set as part of BioWare’s N7 Day celebrations. The team said it didn’t want to steal The Veilguard’s thunder, so it’s tightlipped on the upcoming fifth game in its science fiction series. But now, your Rook can wear some armor that pays homage to Commander Shepard’s red-and-black fit. On top of this, there’s a series of bug fixes, most notably, the one that caused the Inquisitor, Dragon Age: Inquisition’s protagonist, to show up without all the character customization players implement at the beginning of the game during some scenes at the final act.
