Disney Dreamlight Valley is a relaxing title filled to the brim with adorable creatures to meet and feed. If you want to befriend them all, you’ll need to know what foods they like and how to feed it to them. This continues in the game’s second expansion The Storybook Vale where you’ll interact with multiple new critters, including adorable Dragons.
If you’re wondering where to find Dragons, how to feed them, or what their favorite food is, you’ve come to the right place. Read on for all of the answers!
There are four types of Dragons to find during your adventures in The Storybook Vale. Here’s when and where to find them all.
The Blue Dragon is found in The Wild Woods at any time of day from Tuesday – Friday. You’ll need to feed it 3 times to earn its trust.
The Red Dragon is found in Teapot Falls at any time of day from Saturday – Monday. You’ll need to feed it 3 times to earn its trust.
The Green Dragon is found in The Fallen Fortress from Sunday – Thursday between 10AM – 6PM. You’ll need to feed it 3 times to earn its trust.
The Purple Dragon is found in The Beanstalk Marshes every day between 12AM – 12PM. You’ll need to feed it 4 times to earn its trust.
Dragons will hunker down when you approach them (similarly to Sea Turtles in the base game). Just wait a few moments, then they’ll pop up with a smile and a hungry belly!
Okay, so you know when to find ‘em and how to feed ‘em, but what about their favorite food?
Well, they actually have two favorite foods: Magma and Pure Ice! The former gem is found by mining in Mythopia, while the latter gem is found by mining in The Everafter. Both of these are found fairly regularly, so you shouldn’t have too hard of a time keeping them stocked up.
Bear in mind that you can feed Dragons any gem, but they won’t be quite as happy with it as they will be with Magma or Pure Ice, so don’t be stingy. They’re too damn cute for all that nonsense.
Don’t forget to feed the Owls and Pegasus found throughout The Storybook Vale as well! There’s no need to only be friends with one type of critter, after all.
